Financial Management
The NRT was created with an original sum of $100 million, donated by the Province of BC. Of the initial sum, $20.75 million has been allocated for spending on projects over the first three years of the Trust’s operations.
The balance of approximately $80 million has been invested in order to accrue interest and grow the fund to provide ongoing benefit to BC First Nations.
